Crusader Deposit Promise Terms
1. About this Program
The Crusader Deposit Promise Program (Program) is given by CCMSM Manufacturing Pty Ltd (ABN 92 611 555 401) trading as Crusader Caravans (Crusader, we, us or our) to customers who purchase a new Crusader or Dreamhaven caravan (Caravan) through an authorised Crusader dealer (Dealer) and who meet the eligibility criteria set out in section 2.
The purpose of the Program is to give you confidence that, if your Dealer is unable to complete your order (in situations as described in section 3), Crusader will step in to help protect your deposit and, where reasonably possible, ensure your Caravan is still built and delivered.
This Program is given by Crusader and takes effect automatically in favour of each customer who satisfies the eligibility criteria, once your order is registered in accordance with section 2.
The terms of this Program are an additional, voluntary benefit provided by Crusader. Nothing in this Program limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Eligibility criteria
You are an Eligible Customer only if all of the following apply:
(a) you purchase a new Caravan through a Dealer from 1st August 2026;
(b) you have a written Customer Contract or order form for the Caravan;
(c) you pay your Deposit to the Dealer, within the timeframe specified in your Customer Contract, and obtain written evidence of payment;
(d) your Dealer registers your order and evidence of your Deposit with Crusader within 5 days of your Deposit being received (Registration Notification);
(e) there is no material change to your Caravan’s build specification, delivery date or other Customer Contract terms after signing, unless approved by Crusader in writing;
(f) you have not cancelled, repudiated or materially breached your Customer Contract;
(g) you have not provided false, misleading or incomplete information in connection with your order or any claim;
(h) you have not assigned or attempted to assign the benefit of your order, Deposit or this Program to any other person without Crusader’s written consent;
(i) you comply with Crusader’s reasonable requests to verify your eligibility or a claim; and
(j) you consent to your Dealer disclosing your name and order and Deposit details to Crusader for the purposes of this Program, and to Crusader using that information for those purposes in accordance with Crusader’s privacy policy located at https://crusadercaravans.com.au/privacy-policy/.
Upon receipt of a Registration Notification, we will send you an email to confirm registration under the Program. If you do not receive confirmation from Crusader, please contact us.
3. Trigger Events
Eligible Customers have the right to claim under this Program if your Dealer becomes subject to an insolvency event, being administration, liquidation, receivership, bankruptcy, a relevant statutory demand default, or an analogous event under Australian insolvency law (Trigger Event).
Crusader may also, in its reasonable discretion, treat any of the following as a Trigger Event:
(a) your Dealer ceasing to trade in the ordinary course of business;
(b) your Dealer losing its authorisation as a Crusader dealer;
(c) your Dealer’s failure to register your order or Deposit with Crusader; or
(d) any other circumstance which, in Crusader’s reasonable opinion, creates a material risk that you will lose your Deposit or not receive your Caravan because of your Dealer’s default.
4. What we will do
If a Trigger Event occurs in relation to an Eligible Customer, Crusader will, at its election:
(a) arrange for your Caravan to be completed and made available for delivery, substantially in accordance with your original agreed specification and price, through a replacement authorised Dealer or directly by Crusader; or
(b) where 4(a) is not reasonably practicable, pay you, at Crusader’s sole discretion, an amount up to 10% of the total order value.
Crusader will act on eligible claims as quickly as reasonably possible.
5. Making a claim
If a Trigger Event occurs:
(a) You must notify Crusader in writing of your claim under this Program (Claim) within 14 days of becoming aware of the Trigger Event.
(b) You must provide your order confirmation, registration confirmation and written evidence of your Deposit payment, and any other information reasonably requested by Crusader to verify your eligibility.
(c) Crusader will assess your Claim against these terms and confirm the outcome in writing within 10 days of receiving all necessary information.
(d) If your Claim is accepted, Crusader will confirm and implement the applicable remedy under section 4 as soon as reasonably practicable.
6. What is not covered
The Program does not apply to, and Crusader is not liable in respect of, any of the following:
(a) purchases through a dealer that was not an authorised Crusader dealer at the relevant time;
(b) used or demonstrator caravans;
(c) deposits that are not evidenced in writing;
(d) trade-in allowances or trade-in vehicles;
(e) cancellations initiated by you, or any breach of your Customer Contract by you;

(i) discontinued models or components that are genuinely unavailable;
(j) claims involving fraud, collusion or false or misleading information; and
(k) claims that do not follow the process set out in section 5.
7. Changes to these terms

8. Privacy
Crusader will collect, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with its privacy policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), for the purposes of the Program, verifying eligibility and assessing claims.
