Terms of Use:
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a legally binding contract between CCMSM Manufacturing (ACN 611 555 401) (“we”, “us”, “our”) and each person who accesses or uses our website located at CrusaderCaravans.com.au and any related pages, portals or tools we make available (together, the “Site”).
By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, posting a review, submitting a contact request, placing an order request, or uploading custom specifications, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
- Eligibility and Acceptance
1.1 You must be at least 18 years old to submit enquiries, reviews, order requests or custom specifications through the Site.
1.2 By using the Site you represent that you have capacity to enter into a binding contract, and (if using on behalf of a company) that you are authorised to bind that company.
1.3 We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on the Site (or on the date we specify). Your continued use after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Accounts and Security
2.1 To access certain features (e.g., order tracking, uploads, review posting), you may need to create an account with accurate, current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login and for all activity under your account.
2.2 Notify us promptly at info@crusadercaravans.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe are compromised or used in breach of these Terms.
- Permitted Use and Prohibited Conduct
3.1 You may use the Site for lawful purposes and for evaluating our products, submitting enquiries, providing reviews, placing order requests, and (if enabled) uploading custom specifications for recreational vehicles.
3.2 You must not (and must not enable or assist others to):
(a) violate any law, regulation or third-party rights;
(b) reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, data-mine or use automated tools (including bots and crawlers) to access or extract data except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
(c) upload malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system;
(d) interfere with or disrupt the Site or related servers or networks;
(e) misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or the origin/accuracy of information submitted;
(f) post or transmit defamatory, obscene, harassing, misleading, infringing or otherwise unlawful content;
(g) use the Site to advertise or solicit unrelated products or services;
(h) circumvent technical measures we use to protect the Site; or
(i) use any content from the Site to create competing or derivative databases, catalogues or product listings without our prior written consent.
- Information on the Site (Specs, Availability, Pricing)
4.1 The Site provides general information only. Images may show optional equipment; colours, materials, weights, capacities, dimensions, and other specifications may vary between models, production runs and individual builds.
4.2 Any features, specifications, measurements, performance figures, tow-ball weights, gross vehicle mass (GVM), payload or water/gas capacities are approximate and subject to change without notice due to engineering updates, regulatory changes, supplier availability or manufacturing tolerances.
4.3 All prices, promotions and timeframes shown on the Site are indicative and not binding offers. They are invitations to treat only and are subject to written confirmation, stock, dealer participation, and separate terms of sale. We may correct errors or withdraw information at any time.
- Orders, Quotes and Dealer Relationships
5.1 The Site may allow you to submit an order request or ask for a quote. Submission does not constitute acceptance by us. Any purchase of a caravan, components or accessories is governed by separate written sale terms, including those of our authorised dealers (who are independent businesses).
5.2 We may decline or refer any request to an authorised dealer. Dealers set their own pricing and terms and are not our agents for payment collection unless expressly stated in writing.
5.3 To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for statements, promises or representations made by dealers, fitters or third-party service providers.
- Custom Specifications and User Uploads
6.1 The Site may allow you to upload drawings, measurements, materials lists, design files, photos, instructions or other content relating to a proposed custom build or modification (“Custom Specifications”).
6.2 Ownership and licence. As between you and us, you retain ownership of your Custom Specifications. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, sublicensable licence to host, reproduce, adapt, evaluate, test, communicate, and use the Custom Specifications to design, quote, manufacture, supply, service and improve caravans and related products and services, and to generate derivative works such as engineering drawings, build instructions, jigs, quality plans and compliance documentation. We (or our licensors) own all intellectual property in such derivative works and outputs.
6.3 Your warranties. You warrant that: (a) you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload and licence the Custom Specifications; (b) the Custom Specifications are accurate, complete and free from viruses; (c) the Custom Specifications do not infringe any third-party rights or laws; and (d) the Custom Specifications identify any relevant standards, loads, clearances and safety requirements to the extent known to you.
6.4 Accuracy and feasibility. We may review Custom Specifications for feasibility, safety, compliance (including the Road Vehicle Standards Act 2018 (Cth) and Australian Design Rules), weight distribution, wiring and plumbing constraints, supplier limitations and manufacturing capability. We may propose changes, require further details or decline to proceed in our discretion.
6.5 Approval process. No custom design is final until we issue written design approval (or approved drawings/specs) and you (and, where relevant, the dealer) accept any required changes, pricing revisions, build slots and lead times in a formal order document. If your Custom Specifications are unclear or incomplete, we may interpret reasonable assumptions; you are responsible for reviewing and approving the final design.
6.6 Storage and backups. We are not required to store or return Custom Specifications. Maintain your own backups. We may delete files that are inactive, abandoned or exceed storage limits.
- Recreational Vehicle Safety and Modifications
7.1 Towing and use of caravans involve inherent risks. Safe operation depends on many variables including tow vehicle capability, hitch setup, weight distribution, payload, road conditions, driver experience and weather.
7.2 After-market modifications (e.g., lifts, suspension, gas/electrical changes, structural alterations, solar/battery upgrades, additional tanks or appliances) may affect compliance, performance and warranty. Do not alter a caravan without our prior written approval and (where required) certification by qualified, licensed professionals.
7.3 You are responsible for complying with all road rules, weight limits, ADR and gas/electrical standards, conducting pre-trip inspections and maintenance, and using appropriate safety equipment.
7.4 To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses arising from improper use, overloading, unauthorised modifications, inadequate maintenance, or reliance on indicative website specifications rather than the approved build documentation.
- Reviews, Comments and Other User-Generated Content
8.1 You may be able to post reviews, ratings, comments, photos or other content (“UGC”).
8.2 Guidelines. UGC must be honest, based on your genuine experience, relevant to caravanning, and must not be false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, invasive of privacy, infringing, promotional, or otherwise unlawful.
8.3 Licence and moral rights consent. You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and commercialise your UGC in any media for marketing, analytics and product improvement. To the extent permitted by law, you consent to us doing any acts in relation to the UGC that might otherwise infringe your moral rights (e.g., editing, formatting, or not naming you as author).
8.4 Moderation. We may monitor, refuse, remove or edit UGC at any time for any reason (or no reason) without notice. We are not obliged to pre-screen UGC and do not endorse it.
8.5 Your responsibility. You remain solely responsible for your UGC, including securing third-party permissions (e.g., images of people or third-party designs). You agree to indemnify us for any claims, losses, costs or liabilities arising from your UGC, to the extent permitted by law.
- Intellectual Property
9.1 The Site and all content on it (including text, images, videos, graphics, specifications, brochures, manuals, CAD content, software, look and feel, and trade marks) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
9.2 You may view the Site for personal, non-commercial use. Except as expressly permitted by law or these Terms, you must not copy, distribute, adapt, publish, sell, frame, upload, post or otherwise use any Site content without our prior written consent.
9.3 Feedback. If you provide ideas, suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them without restriction or obligation.
- Privacy and Cookies
10.1 Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information and our use of cookies and similar technologies. By using the Site, you consent to our handling of your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- Third-Party Links and Services
11.1 The Site may link to third-party websites, tools or services (e.g., map providers, finance calculators, file transfer services, payment gateways). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
- Disclaimers
12.1 General information only. The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. While we use reasonable efforts to update information, we make no representation or warranty that the Site or its content is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, secure or error-free.
12.2 No engineering or professional advice. Site content (including calculators, diagrams and guides) is general information and not engineering, compliance or safety advice. Obtain independent professional advice for your circumstances.
12.3 Specification variance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim responsibility for differences between website information and the final build specifications approved by you, changes necessary to achieve compliance, supplier substitutions, or reasonable manufacturing variances.
12.4 ACL notice. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory guarantees under the ACL that cannot be excluded. Where our liability for breach of a non-excludable guarantee can be limited, it is limited to the re-supply of the relevant Site services or the cost of re-supplying them, at our election.
- Limitation of Liability
13.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, loss of opportunity, business interruption, reputational harm, or punitive/exemplary damages arising from or in connection with the Site, Site content, UGC, custom design processes, indicative specifications, order requests, or third-party services—even if we were advised of the possibility of such losses.
13.2 To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Site in any 12-month period is limited to AUD $100 or the amount you paid (if any) to access the relevant Site feature, whichever is greater.
13.3 Without limiting the above, we are not responsible for losses arising from: (a) reliance on indicative website specifications or imagery; (b) inaccuracies or omissions in Custom Specifications or UGC; (c) unauthorised modifications or use contrary to instructions; (d) delays, outages or errors caused by networks, hosts or third parties; or (e) events beyond our reasonable control.
- Indemnity
14.1 To the extent permitted by law, you indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your UGC or Custom Specifications (including IP infringement, privacy breaches, defamation, or compliance issues); (c) your misuse of the Site; or (d) claims by third parties resulting from your acts or omissions. This indemnity is reduced to the extent the loss is caused by our breach of these Terms or our negligence.
- Suspension and Termination
15.1 We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the Site (or any feature) at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably suspect a breach of these Terms or for operational, security or legal reasons.
15.2 On termination, your licence to use the Site ends, but Sections 6 (Custom Specifications and User Uploads), 7, 8, 9, 12–20 survive.
- Dispute Resolution; No Class Actions
16.1 If a dispute arises, you must first give us written notice describing the dispute and your requested resolution, and you must use good-faith efforts to resolve it with us within 30 days.
16.2 If not resolved, either party may refer the dispute to mediation in Melbourne, Victoria administered by the Resolution Institute (or successor) under its rules. Each party bears its own costs and shares mediator fees equally.
16.3 If the dispute is still unresolved after mediation, either party may commence proceedings in the courts specified in Section 19.
16.4 Class action waiver. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as a member or representative of any class or collective proceeding.
- Communications and Notices
17.1 You consent to receive communications from us electronically (including via the Site, email or account messaging). Legal notices to us must be sent to Level 44, 600 Bourke Street, Melbourne with a copy to info@crusadercaravans.com.au
17.2 We may deliver notices by posting on the Site or to the email registered to your account.

- Governing Law and Jurisdiction
19.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth courts of Australia sitting in Victoria.
- General
20.1 Assignment. We may assign or transfer our rights or obligations under these Terms without restriction. You must not assign without our written consent.
20.2 Severability. If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down or severed to the extent necessary without affecting the remaining provisions.
20.3 No waiver. A failure or delay by us to exercise a right does not operate as a waiver. A waiver must be in writing.
20.4 Entire agreement. These Terms (and policies linked in them) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and supersede all prior discussions regarding the Site.
20.5 Force majeure. We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (including labour disputes, supplier issues, utility failures, network or hosting outages, acts of God, pandemic or government action).
- Caravan-Specific Risk and Accuracy Disclosures
21.1 Weights and capacities. Stated Tare, ATM, GVM, tow-ball download, payload, water/gas capacities and dimensions may vary due to manufacturing tolerances, options fitted, load distribution and measurement methods. Verify final figures on the Compliance Plate, the approved build sheet and weighbridge results for your specific caravan before travel.
21.2 Illustrative content. Photos, 3D renders and walkthroughs are illustrative only. Décor, stitching, trim lines, appliance models and layouts may change without notice.
21.3 Supplier substitutions. We may substitute components of equal or better quality where a listed item is unavailable, discontinued or required to achieve compliance, safety or performance outcomes.
21.4 Safety. Always follow the owner’s manual and safety instructions, perform regular maintenance, and obtain professional advice for weight distribution, brake controllers, hitches, suspension and electrics.
21.5 Compatibility. Ensure your tow vehicle is rated and equipped for the loaded caravan weight and dimensions. We do not warrant compatibility between a specific tow vehicle and a particular caravan unless expressly stated in a signed document.
- Product Recalls and Safety Notices
22.1 From time to time, we may issue safety notices or recalls. We may publish these on the Site or contact you via your registered details. You are responsible for ensuring your contact information is current and for following any instructions in a recall or safety notice.
- Data Security; Technical Limits
23.1 We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the Site but do not guarantee it will be free of vulnerabilities. Uploads may be subject to size/type limits and scanning; do not upload confidential or export-controlled information.
23.2 You are responsible for adequate protection and backup of your data and for using up-to-date antivirus and browsers.
- Complaints and Takedown
24.1 If you believe Site content or UGC infringes your rights, please notify info@crusadercaravans.com.au with: (a) identification of the content; (b) evidence of your rights; (c) your contact details; and (d) a statement made in good faith that you believe the use is unauthorised.
