Our new manufacturing facility in Epping Victoria is a state-of-the art facility. This new facility will equip us with one of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in the Australian caravan industry.
We insist on the best quality materials and components at every production stage, starting from the ground up. Our chassis are strong and made in Australia using 100% Australian Steel. Our roof, floor and walls are full composite one-piece designs without joins for better durability, protection and insulation. We use weight rated light truck tyres. We only use quality fixtures and fittings and our ceilings are higher than most, 6’8’’ high. The list goes on….
We actively pursue high quality options from locally based manufacturers before considering any off shore options. We believe in safe guarding local jobs and supporting the Australian caravan industry supply chain.
RVSA Approved
Crusader Caravans are the first Australian caravan manufacturer to achieve RVSA accreditation (Road Vehicle Standards Act). This means we comply with all Federal Government approvals and applicable road safety requirements. Not all caravan manufacturers are RVSA compliant! It is strongly recommended you ask if your short-listed caravan manufacturers are RVSA compliant before buying.

Crusader Caravans is an accredited RVMAP Manufacturer, as awarded by the CIA (Caravan Industry Association of Australia). This means we adhere to all applicable Australian Design Rules and Federal Compliance Regulations. Not all manufacturers are compliant! Look for the RVMAP accreditation key.

We’re proud of our rock solid reputation for exceptional build quality. All Crusader Caravans are strong & tough yet lightweight. One of the ways we achieve this is by using high-end full composite based panels to form the roof, floor and walls of all new Crusader Caravans. This innovative material is combined with our advanced manufacturing methods to deliver a higher quality caravan. A similar approach has been employed by other leading manufacturers to build trucks, trains, trams and planes for years. Crusader Caravans are proud caravan industry leaders in the use of composite material with extensive experience.
What does this mean? Your Crusader Caravan will be highly durable yet lighter so it’s easier to tow and far more economical. You’ll use less fuel to get from A to B. Another advantage is superior water resistance of a Crusader Caravan. This is because of our one-piece construction method. The roof, floors and walls are made using one complete piece of composite material without any joins. This greatly reduces the chance of any water seeping into your caravan. Your Crusader Caravan will also have superior insulation throughout, so you’ll be comfortable inside in any weather conditions.
Some caravan manufacturers are also now starting to use composite material to build their caravans. But not all composite based builds are the same.
