Although the ACCC has issued a recall on specific models and manufactured dates on Swift 500 series ovens and cooktops neither Swift nor any government authority has cleared any Swift 500 series ovens or cooktops manufactured earlier or later than the recalled dates.
Crusader caravans advised on the 16th of June, and it is still our recommendation:
If you own a Crusader Caravan with a SWIFT 500 SERIES COOKTOP/OVEN, we strongly recommend that you do not use the appliance until government authorities and Swift provides further clarification on this issue. June 24,2022 –The ACCC has just published an update on the SWIFT 500 Series Cooktop.
The announcement includes safety recall notice for SWIFT 500 Series Cooker/Grill and Cooktops with the following Model Numbers:
Model Numbers 502BHSP, 502BHFW, 502DHSP, 502RHSP, 502SHFW, 502SHW, 502WBHSP, 503BHSPM, 503BHSP, 503BHSPMLG, 503BHSW, 503DHSP, 503RHSP, 503SHSPM, 503SHSW and 503BHSPN
For products supplied to consumers, caravan, camper and motorhome manufacturers between 01/01/2019 and 1/06/2020.Â

The gas Safety Regulators are conducting a safety investigation.
